SUNDAY'S SPILL

Happy Sunday to you all!
Last night I was able to catch up with some of my wonderful friends and scrapbook-I actually scrapbooked!  I usually fiddle around and never complete anything or I seem to be only working on cards.... but I completed a two-page layout and started another two-page layout that is still in the process of completion.  We all watched My Pink Stamper last night while we scrapped.
I am so excited for my girlfriend Wendy (yes her name is Wendy too! We went through high school as Wendy 1 and Wendy 2-similar to Thing 1 and Thing 2) she purchased a Cricut Expression from Custom Crops online and got the deal of a century LOL!!!  I am so happy for her and cannot wait for her to get it so we can play!  All of us gals are headed to the Creative Keepsakes convention at the end of July and are very excited about going.  Last year we attended this convention for the day but this year we will be staying overnight-I have been saving my pennies for the trip!  Well I hope you all have had a wonderful week ....and remember to roll up your sleeves and create something with the heart!

Here is my quote for the day:

SUNDAY'S SPILL

Happy Sunday everyone!!  Well as I was sitting in my dungeon, paper crafting away, I thought of a great idea for my blog.  Each week I will post a poll for a Cricut cartridge.  My goal is that we can all benefit from others that have purchased and/or used this cartridge to see if it is of interest to what our needs would be.  I will also post a photo of the cartridge and add my own personal comments and opinion of the cartridge.  Please add your comments!!!  I would love to hear your thoughts!!  Feedback is a wonderful tool for us to use when purchasing products.  I hope everyone is enjoying this sunny Sunday.  Remember to.....roll up your sleeves and create something from the heart!!
Here is my quote for the day:
“When we engage in what we are naturally suited to do, our work takes on the quality of play and it is play that stimulates creativity.” – Linda Naiman

Sunday's Spill

Happy Sunday and Happy Valentine's Day everyone!!!

Today I woke up to the smell of bacon with egg, cheese, onion, and green pepper burritos -yum yum!!
The sun is shining and the snow is finally melting away-I hope to see grass in the near future but we have another snow storm coming tomorrow evening :(.  With Spring approaching my hopes are to get my scrapbook dungeon organized and in order!  I am trying to find a way to organize those little pieces of scraps that tend to either get thrown away or never used.  Email me or post a comment with ideas or suggestions on how you organize your paper scraps.  I would love to hear from you!  I hope everyone is having a super great day and remember to roll up your sleeves and create something special from the heart.

True art is characterized by an irresistible urge in the creative artist. -Albert Einstein

Sunday's Spill

Good Morning!!
When I looked out the window I could actually see the sun shining!  I hope it starts to melt some of this snow away.  I think I am headed outside to take some pictures so I can scrapbook the Blizzard of 2010.  I went to JoAnn Fabrics right before the storm hit and was able to catch a great deal on DCWV paper packs on sale 50% off!!  I think the sale continues until the 20th of February.  I hope you are finding yourself warm and with loved ones.  Have a wonderful Sunday and don't forget to roll up your sleeves and create something today.  Here is the quote for the day:

"Creativity is allowing yourself to make mistakes. Art is knowing which ones to keep. "-Scott Adams

SUNDAY'S SPILL

Hello to all of those wonderful paper crafting addicts out there!! I am headed down to the craft room (I call it my Dungeon) so I can stir up some creativity today. I am making Valentine gifts for my children and also for my 22 third graders :). Today is the perfect day for crafting-we had around 9 inches of snow delivered to our home over the weekend! I truly cannot wait for Spring to come so I can start working on Easter crafts. I hope you are having a warm and relaxing Sunday and also hope that you have an opportunity to roll up your sleeves and begin to create something special. Here is my quote for the day:

"Nobody will stop you from creating. Do it tonight. Do it tomorrow. That is the way to make your soul grow - whether there is a market for it or not! The kick of creation is the act of creating, not anything that happens afterward." -Kurt Vonnegut 1922

Have a blessed day!!!!!!!!!!
