"Your my Hero" card

Materials used for this card:
Blue, taupe, and white Bazzill paper with corrdinating prints
Two large silver brads
My Pink Stamper stamp set
White ribbon
Mono Adhesive
Pop Dots

This card is a very simple layout.  Sometimes the simplest cards are the prettiest of them all!  I find myself putting too many embellishments or "bling" on my cards and scrapbook pages and they look really overdone.  It is nice once and a while to create a basic, simple card that gets your message across.  I really love the color selections I chose for this card.  I hope you like it ;)   Have a great day!!!

Here is my quote for today:

In order to have a real relationship with our creativity, we must take the time and care to cultivate it. -- Julia Cameron

Wow. That is a simple but STUNNING card design. You always have such a way of balancing color and concepts! It looks like it is a leather card from the picture - I had to do a double-take. :) I like the way you centered what you used to to make it, as I am a beginner, you make it very easy for me to understand. (and excited to see if I can achieve the same results!!) Thank you so much for sharing, and I look forward everyday to see what you will come up with next!

The "Mini Monogram Thanks So Much" card really caught my eye. First, I am amazed at how you use your materials. [It all sounds like foreign language to me, so you obviously know a lot about your art]. It drew me in due to the "metallic" look. It is a strong looking card with great accents. I think it would even be a great card for a guy.
